Connecting teams of college students with churches for mission projects

MissionATL connects college student mission teams with metro Atlanta churches and non-profits for weeklong service projects during spring break and summer.

These partnerships not only accelerate community relationships with church plants and established churches but also include intentional gospel outreach events that impact the community for the Kingdom.

MissionATL offers an impactful, dynamic week where your Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) students or church group can experience a life-changing Spring Break making disciples, engaging in practical ministry, and participating in local missions alongside metro Atlanta church plants and established churches.

If you are a BCM leader or church leader looking for a spring break mission, we would love to serve you and assist you in coming to the vibrant city of Atlanta to make a lasting impact for the Kingdom of God.

What’s Provided:

What’s Provided: (BCM groups, Mission ATL will provide the following: )

  • Connection – We match your group to a partner church plant or an existing church here in metro Atlanta where you will serve for the week.
  • Housing – We provide housing for the week at the church facility or in church family homes. Your group needs to bring sleeping bags, cots, etc., if you are hosted by the church. If your group prefers to stay in a hotel, we can offer you a list of reasonable local hotels. The cost of hotels will be covered by your group.
  • Meals – The host church will provide at least two meals a day, breakfast and lunch.
  • Orientation and FLUID Missional-Discipleship Training – Noonday leaders will equip students with the Why? Who? How? and What? of making disciples so every student is ready to serve and evangelize alongside the host church.
  • Kick-off Worship Rally – Following orientation on Sunday evening, all the BCM teams will worship together kicking off their week on mission.
  • Mission Opportunities with a local church – We will provide at least three days of hands-on ministry in the church’s community, leading up to one main outreach event on Wednesday night. Some groups may hold a three or four-day after-school camp (sports, tech, music, etc.) depending on the gifts and skill sets of the students coming to serve and the needs of the church.
  • Thursday Flex Day – Each group may choose between two opportunities for an optional Thursday serve day: either do follow-up work with your partner church or take a serve tour at the SEND Clarkston Ministry Center where teams will participate in prayer walking and ministry in refugee neighborhoods.
