Missions

Noonday is here to help your church engage your community, nation, and world with the Gospel.

We have decided to move from talking about missions to engaging our local community for maximum gospel impact by bringing Noonday churches together to intentionally reach their community. We call these Missional Pastor Meet-Ups. Missional Pastor Meet-Ups can happen anywhere, at any time, and always in collaboration with other local churches that need an extra hand to make a community engagement project a reality. It’s about churches helping churches love their community in practical ways with no strings attached.

If your church has an outreach project in mind and could use some help executing it, we would love the opportunity to come alongside your church to help bring other Noonday churches together to make it happen for the Kingdom

SchoolBridge

Our SchoolBridge initiative matches local churches to nearby schools to provide extra funding, unique services, and volunteer support, including providing mentors to students. Our mission is to ensure every school is paired with a church partner, and every church is prepared to partner with a local school. Check these school partnership resources:

Project Backpack, in partnership with Mission Georgia, provides free backpacks to Noonday churches who then fill them with school supplies and gift them to schools in need.

The Noonday Backpack Project is a project designed to provide students in Cobb County with new backpacks and school supplies, so they are prepared to attend school on the first day ready to learn with the tools they need! Our goal is to provide 1,000 backpacks for churches to fill with school supplies and a whole lot of love.

Follow these links for how to pack the backpacks and a packing list of what goes inside.

MissionATL connects mission teams of college students with Noonday churches for weeklong projects during spring break and summer. These partnerships not only accelerate community relationships but include intentional outreach events that impact the community
