🌱 Sow in Summer, Reap in Fall: Multiply Church Engagement Starts Now

Dear Noonday Pastors, As we step into summer, we enter a critical window to sow intentionally so that we may reap abundantly this fall. The Multiply Church Engagement Framework equips churches to move people from first impressions to faithful multiplication through five strategic phases: Attract, Gather, Assimilate, Grow, and Multiply.

1. Attract people through intentional community engagement
2. Gather them into welcoming and Spirit-led worship environments
3. Assimilate them into the relational fabric of the church
4. Grow them through intentional discipleship
5. Multiply them as servant leaders who make disciples of others

This summer is your moment to engage the first three phases—Attract, Gather, and Assimilate—while preparing your fall ministries to fully activate Grow and Multiply.

🎒 Blessing Our Educators: A Strategic Onramp

The return of teachers marks a significant opportunity for outreach.
Here are the return dates:

1. Cobb County: Teachers report July 25, 2025
2. Paulding County: Teachers report July 31, 2025

Your church can Attract new people and build credibility in your community by hosting a Teacher Appreciation Event. This could include a breakfast, gift bags, supply drives, or even personal notes of encouragement. These simple gestures can serve as divine doorways for meaningful relationships and Gospel influence.

đź“– Preach for Belonging: A Fall Series That Gathers

The first Sunday of August is an ideal launch point for a compelling new sermon series. Lean into themes of belonging, identity, and family—the kind of messages that resonate with people reestablishing rhythms after summer. Your series can powerfully support the Gather phase by drawing seekers into the heart of your worship community. Consider series titles like:

1. “This Is Us: The Family You’ve Been Looking For”
2. “Rooted: Finding Your Place in God’s People”
3. “Come Home: Why Church Still Matters”

🌱 Build Discipleship Tracks for Growth and Multiplication

Behind every crowd is a calling. As you gather people, be prepared to Assimilate them into community and Grow them as disciples. This is the time to design or revisit your fall discipleship classes, small group tracks, or mentoring pathways—tools that help believers discover their purpose and multiply their faith into others.

🛠️ Summer Strategy Checklist

1. Plan Teacher Engagement Events for July
2. Craft a Sermon Series for August that casts vision for belonging
3. Establish Discipleship Pathways that begin in early fall
4. Evaluate your Assimilation Process to ensure no one falls through the cracks
